A bit about me

I am a Director of People Savvy Consulting and a freelance corporate psychologist who managed and practised in a clinical centre as a psychotherapist. Over the past thirty years, I’ve been working as an executive leadership coach, organisational consultant and facilitator. I bring a depth of psychology and corporate experience to my interactions with individuals, leaders and groups.


I have worked with senior managers of global corporations across a broad range of industries including Manufacturing, Financial Services, Professional Services, Health, and have designed and facilitated a large number of leadership programs as well as executive team development, coach training, and cultural change. Having engaged with diverse individuals, teams and organisations - from senior executives to prison officers and fire-fighters - my particular areas of passion and expertise are in assisting people to create change in their personal and professional lives.


My approach is based on several theoretical frameworks including Systems-Psychodynamics, experiential modalities such as IFS (Internal Family Systems) and Voice Dialogue, EFT (Tapping or Emotional Freedom Techniques), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Client-Centred Theory, Organisational Development, and Adult Learning. I believe that by having a deep awareness and understanding of our own and others’ behaviours, emotions, and thought processes - and of group and organisational dynamics - leaders can enhance their abilities to inspire, develop people, manage change and ambiguity, and be more innovative and authentic in how they lead. After working with people for over forty years, I am still surprised at how much our early experiences – especially in our families (which were the first organisations we worked in!) – continue to influence how we behave and navigate our lives. But this doesn’t have to be the case.


I draw on a wide range of approaches depending on my clients’ challenges and unique situation. Below is a brief summary of my career and educational background:

  • Leadership Development – with People Savvy clients and as an external consultant and coach at IMD Business School, Lausanne for the past 18 years, with Cultivating Leadership for 3 years, and with several consulting companies

  • Team Coaching – with People Savvy clients, designing creative and pragmatic programs for developing executive teams

  • Coach and Counselling Training – with People Savvy clients, various populations including volunteer fire fighters, naturopaths
